Same. Some of the old holes (such as where someone had mounted a trolling motor, of all things) are not going to be drilled through on the rebuilt. Those holes can just be covered with tape with no hole drilled through the wood and no slit in the tape. To keep things efficient, you can see that I marked arrows on the tape for all holes that would require the temporary bolts, so I didn’t have to stop and search to figure it out during fiberglassing.
